CommentsYour art and your desire to impart your knowledge on those who view it is phenomenal. Are you a general biologist? Or an entomologist? I myself am studying entomology.
Do you only use the Tamron 90mm macro?
Or are there other Macro lens you use? Or any macro accessory you use to make such close up images?? I am learning about Macro photography and would like to know how take some of these images. My Tamron recently died on me so I got a 100L macro lens (recent 20-25 pics were taken with 100L). Most of the photos were taken with macro lens + Ext tubes (24 to 36mm)+ Raynox 250 (+8 closeup filter). This setup allows me to take about 2 times to 2.5 times magnification...
Of course, another important factor is diffuser... This is my friend setup which i copy the idea from [link] Have fun... -- my Blog [link] Ok let me try to get this.
So the set up is a 100mm macro lens with an ext tube plus a +8 close-up lens? In addition to that, the diffuser which is the flash diffuser I'm assuming? creates the right lighting? After viewing your pictures, I have only one question.....
How do you take such pictures!! I'm begging ya man! What is the set-up for your camera? Your gallery is stunning.
It inspires me to go out there and try to find some insects with my camera (which I did yesterday and I didn't get the result's I would have loved to get, but that's fine). I feel like painting huge watercolours of those bugs, some look absolutely unreal. Keep up the good work! Have a great life (: -- [link] ---> Critique is appreciated (: |
