Amblypygi is an order of invertebrate animals belonging to the class Arachnida, in the subphylum Chelicerata of the phylum Arthropoda. They form a separate order of arachnids alongside the spiders, scorpions and others.
Amblypygids are also known as whip spiders and tailless whip scorpions (not to be confused with whip scorpions that belong to the Arachnid order Thelyphonida). The name "amblypygid" means "blunt rump", a reference to a lack of the telson ("tail") carried by related species. They are totally harmless to humans.
cool!! It's this that we see in The Goblet of Fire right (Harry Potter))?? I'm pretty sure!!! It's specifical physiological shape is so recognizable!!!
It's interesting to note the differences between the tooth structures between the two species you have posted (I'm pretty sure that little one is a juvenile of the 1st because of the shape of the pedipalps. You REALLY need to hook up with an entomologist over there! You're work has so much potential! Oh my goodness!
Doesn't mean that there aren't any, though. If you can find the names of universities or colleges, their biology professors could point you to somewhere to look.
